Pure quality, Konosuba is endlessly rewatchable. They were this close to making something genuinely good. But then you get back to the actual story, and it's like it never even happened. And the mc (and his father too tbh) is just awful when it happens. But then, stuck right in the middle of it all, some of the most explicit fucking loli scenes in all of weebdom.
It's such a well done anime -beautiful animation, perfect pacing, relatable moments, poignant themes, and moments that actually make you sit and genuinely think about life. I like to refer to it as the best anime that I'll never recommend to anyone. If you want something that is better while also so much worse, try Mushoku Tensei / Jobless Reincarnation. And the hardcore constant sexual rapey stuff, just way too over the top and way way too young girly Rory McRapey was absolutely pointless to the plot, the 100 year old 14 year looking elf who calls him daddy, the weird Ram/Rem fusion mage who coldly tells him he is her husband because she tricked him into sleeping with her. The fuuuuucking harem aspect was just so trash.
